My thirty seconds with US Congressperson David Cicilline

When you hold a protest against a ridiculous Supreme Court ruling, you have to have an ask. Meaning, if a member of the House of representatives drives by and stops to show support for your protest, you have to be ready to ask for some remedy to the injustice done.

Fortunately I was prepared, and during my thirty seconds of time with Rhode Island Congressman David Cicilline during which this picture was taken, I asked for him to consider introducing or signing onto legislation to repeal RFRA, the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which is the legislation the Supreme Court hung their Burwell v Hobby Lobby decision on.

To his credit, Representative Cicilline said that he would consider it.
