January 15, 2012

Woke up and took a long walk in the freezing cold. Got back, took a warm shower, put on a tie, and worked on some video for the RI ACLU and caught up on email. Then my friend Adam picked me up and it was off to Warwick for the Humanists of Rhode island FFRF photo shoot.

Reporters from the Projo were there. We got a great little article out of it and of course a ton of nasty comments. This event was just the beginning of what I hope will be more cooperation between the various secular groups in Rhode Island. Thirty people is a great turnout for a day that was never warmer than 15 degrees. I love the Vulcan salute to the right.

After such a freezing cold morning is was great to attend my friend Nancy's ice cream party and play Bananagrams.

After that my wife and i ate dinner with some friends at Abyssinia, and Ethiopian restaurant here in Providence. The food there is amazing. Highly recommended.

And that, was that for today.
